Who Uses Drupal

I've been coming up with examples of who is using Drupal. I usually just point people to my growing list of Delicious links. There's also summaries available from BuiltWith, which rates Drupal the most popular of their reviewed CMS's. However, I thought that this was probably a more timely way to organize it. This is pulling information out of Delicious' RSS feeds to allow me to post new links that other people find interesting.

Musicians

There are a number of musicians who web presence is delivered by Drupal. Bob Dylan, Ozzy Ozborne, Moby and Avril Lavigne are prominent examples, but also:

Politicians

There are a lot of politicians and political parties that are using Drupal. The biggest example was Howard Dean running in the 2004 Democratic Primaries. His DeanSpace campaign aimed to provide him his perfect storm for the election. After Dean's defeat, the DeanSpace team continued working on the code and later contributed it into Drupal. Canada's federal & Ontario NDP (Federal NDP & Ontario NDP) and Green Party (Green Party & Ontario Greens) use Drupal as to most NDP MP's & MPP's.

Non-Profits

Many non-profits use Drupal to deliver their sites and build a online community. Amnesty International & The United Church of Canada and Make Poverty History are good examples, but there are lots of others:

Governments

Many government departments are now using Drupal. We have several implementations within the Government of Canada and others are listed in the Government 2.0 Best Practices Wiki that we also contribute to. The most prominent example at the moment is Obama's Recovery.gov website. Other examples from France, New Zealand, Belgium (including their PM) NATO and the United Nations:

There are a whole lot of high traffic sites using Drupal as well The Onion & Ask a Ninja are good examples.
