OpenConcept prides itself on its ability to provide targeted, useful training to new Drupal users. We begin with a formal training session that teaches the basics of ‘Drupalese’ and walks you through how to create pages (nodes), items in sidebars (blocks), blog posts and menu items. We also provide instruction on best practices to use when entering content into the WYSIWIG editor and how to insert graphics, attach files or embed video. Our goal throughout the training process is to ensure that you are given the tools and expertise to take control of their web presence. Once your staff are comfortable with the Drupal system, they will be able to add even fairly sophisticated new features – such as blogging or discussion forums, say – without the bother and expense of bringing in consultants.
Our Drupal developers have extensive experience training organizations and can present terms and concepts in a way that makes the transition to Drupal as seamless as possible. Inevitably, there will be some tasks will have trouble getting accustomed with and OpenConcept will be there to answer your frantic phone calls and respond patiently to your emails. To facilitate client-specific documentation and improved learning, OpenConcept will also upload our initial training documentation to GoogleDocs and encourage our client to take notes as they learn the caveats of their particular, custom Drupal website.
