Drupal 101

Ravi walks through using both categories and i18n. The challenge with setting this up is that menus are not aware of language. This is a good introduction both to how to use the category module (rather than the taxonomy module) to organize a hierarchy, but also illustrates some of the unique challenges to organizing a hierarchy in multiple languages.
